Construction of a media library

The building’s folded roof gives it a distinctive recognisable silhouette in the current landscape of the municipality. This fifth façade gives the varied and divided interior volume a sense of scale.

The project is organised around three strengths: 
- optimum visual comfort.
- drastic reduction of energy consumption (low-energy building).
- choice of materials that have minimal impacts on the environment and health.

This spacious, bright and convivial media library offers services completely free of charge to all inhabitants of Loire Forez: exhibitions, play areas, film screenings, listening counters, press area, live performances, as well as a wide choice of books, DVDs, CDs, magazines for every taste and age group.
