Dam reconstruction

The structure to build is a mobile dam on the river Oise, designed to control the water level of the upstream headrace to allow navigation of river convoys.

The dam consists of 2 main bays and a channel located on the right bank. It adjoins a functioning lock.

The main bays and the channel are each fitted with a mobile control valve. Each valve on the navigable bays is actuated by 2 jacks inserted against the piers, while the channel valve is actuated by a single jack located on the river pier.
