Construction of a conference centre.

It consists of functional rooms laid out on two levels, allowing for modularity of the spaces, depending on the needs of event organisers. The ground floor comprises the main hall, the meeting rooms and the restaurant with terrace affording a wonderful view of the lake. The entrance hall, exhibition area and main auditorium are located in the basement.

Two-thirds of the building’s floor area is underground (-6 metres).

The south façade is covered with glazed panels of varying opacity and can be used as a display screen for signage and video screenings from the forecourt. Access to the planted wooden rooftop is an essential feature of the project The main aim is to provide a truly open public space, accessible to all.

A coloured stone bridge overlooks the canal and marks the main entrance to the building. The esplanade gives a new unobstructed view of the lake and provides a new space for relaxation and strolling.

The lake’s water will provide a source of energy for heating and cooling.
